Procrastination is a common illness around the society. I think everybody has procrastination to some degree. Generally speaking, procrastination is an act of putting of an essential task until a later time. And there is no doubt that procrastination will do harm to our study and health.

Take myself as an example of a procrastinator. When the deadline for my biology homework is set, I'll think there's still one week until the assignment is due. So I have the false sense of security. I think I have plenty of time to prepare. As time passes, I will always reminds myself that I'll get started soon. And when the last day is coming, I hurries to do my paper hastily and under a great pressure.

What causes procrastination? There are three reasons. Firstly, perfectionism. Everything you want to do should be done at a high level. You want to succeed by one time and don't want to repeat again. Second, be easy to be decadent. The task is so difficult, I can't tolerant doing that. Maybe I'll do it tomorrow. Last, self-depreciation. My ability becomes lower and lower gradually as I usually can't finish my tasks well.

As a result, procrastination seems to become a daily habit for everyone. How can we deal with it? Let's see some measures.
First, realize it's no need to procrastinate.
Second, think hard and write down the reason why you will procrastinate.
Third, just overcome it one by one.

Everyday spend procrastinating is another day worrying about it. So, TAKE ACTION RIGHT AWAY!
